The use of dental floss or just a clean piece of string might work... I've seen this idea suggested previously. Make sure whatever you use for a removal system is strong enough to withstand the pull, obviously tie prior to use
I had the same issue! Very concerning especially after trying different positions multiple times. I started thinking about what instrument that wouldn't hurt me I could insert to remove it but glad I didn't have to do that. I eventually tried standing up, baring down and got it out, which took several attempts. Not using Estring again!
I also had the same issue, almost made an appointment with my MD to have it removed... but tried a smaller crochet hook, and it worked well... my fingers just weren't long enough and the ring was situation quite far back... hope that helps. I removed it while standing and bearing down.
I have never had this experience, seek medical attention.
