Hi, Sabrenicole!
How long have you been taking your Prozac? 10mg is a low initial dose and you may need an increase in dosage (up to a 60mg/day maximum). Also, it can take as long as 6-8 weeks before you feel the full effects although some people may feel improvements in the first few weeks.
You might want to discuss this with the doctor who prescribed your medication and see if this is the case.
Personally, I've taken many medications over time for my anxiety disorders and I found Prozac to be very helpful but it "pooped out" after about 7 years and since I can no longer take antidepressant/anxiolytics I take a medication called buspirone. It might be an option for you at some point but if I where you I'd get my doctor's advice on how Prozac is working for you for starters.
Did Prozac ever make you feel dizzy ?
No, I'm lucky never to have had much in the way of side effects from any of my meds. But dizziness
is a potential side of Prozac:
"Very common (10% or more of users): Dizziness (up to 11%)"
Side effects generally resolve within days to a couple of weeks. How long have you been taking your Prozac? If the dizziness doesn't go away after 2-3 weeks you'll need to let your doctor know.
