Hi, so I know that for the initial ring you are supposed to use back up birth control, but this is my fourth month on the ring. I was supposed to insert a new ring on Thursday at 10am but didn't get my refill until 2. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex last night, am I still protected or should I get Plan B?
Am I Protected Even if I Insert A New Ring A Few Hours Late?

nooooooooooooooo plan B. a few hours late is only dropping your protection a tiny bit and its over 99% at best. Plan B at best is 95%. It won't offer any more then you already have. You should make a habit of getting your refill the day before its due.
My wife was in a similar situation. Her doctor said that up to 18 hours there is nothing to worry about.
