... me and not her they said I have a low sperm count so my question is. Is there something I can do to get my sperm count up?
Dear tigerfan; oh, I'm so sorry for you and your wife... So sorry it took so
long to find out the real issue. I, personally don't have an answer off the
top of my head, but it certainly seems like this may be a common diagnosis,
and there should be a wealth of infomation avaiable. In fact, the next member
that replies might just might have your answer..Smart people are reading all these
questions, all the time. Just wanted to say hang in there, and your bundle of joy will
be smiling and cooing at you, real soon! Your Friend, ~~D_Squared~~*
Hi, i also am sorry i has taken this long to realise the problem. Some suggestions i have heard of to increase sperm count are as follows...
Stop smoking (if you do), choose loose fitting underwear - tight fitting briefs can cause overheating of the scrotum, which affects sperm production, don't use saunas or jacuzzi's while trying to conceive, try to reduce stress levels, take a vitamin & fertility supplement, maintain a healthy weight, don't take steroids or other drugs, don't exercise excessively, eat a healthy diet and keep hydrated, get enough sleep. Maybe these suggestions will help? I certainly hope so, i wish you and your wife the very best of luck in conceiving your child.
Make an appointment with a fertility doctor. They can advise you all all your best options for increasing your count. Do not be afraid to have a check up with the urologist to be sure nothing is being blocked. With todays technology this is a very common issues and can be helped. Though this is a place for asking questions I feel you be best served by talking to the doctors. Sometimes hearing from too many people can be confusing during such a emotional time. I wish you both luck and let us know how it goes.
