I took 75mg twice daily for sciatica... eventually slowly reduced my dosage and then stopped taking it. Since then (3+months) I've and bad anxiety and occasionally depression. Could this be a withdrawal effect or something unrelated?

Hi, Trekked!
Anxiety and depression can certainly be symptoms of pregabalin discontinuation but over three months is a pretty long time.
"There are many factors that can contribute to the length of time that discontinuation symptoms persist... dose taken, length of time on the medication, and personal metabolism For some individuals the withdrawal symptoms will clear up within a week. For others, it may take months to fully recover from the discontinuation effects. You may feel as if you are never going to get better, but you will. Your nervous system will be able to readjust itself back to normal functioning and symptoms will eventually fade."
You should probably get your doctor's opinion and also maybe rule out an underlying problem.
Best regards and I hope you're feeling better soon.
