Hi, Seanytown!
In rare cases pregabalin can affect liver function causing dark/brownish urine and later yellowing of the eyes and skin (jaundice).
This should be reported to your doctor right away for professional advice.
As masso has said, your doctor may want to run some tests... urinalysis/culture and possibly blood work.
Yesm Lyrica/pregabalin can cause dark and smelly urine. Cymbalta/duloxetine can also. The only way I got rid of the problem was to taper off the medications.
Dark and smelly urine are not listed as possible side effects.
Do inform your Dr..
You may have an underlying condition, I believe it would be beneficial for you to have a urinalysis and a urine culture done.
