First, I’m grateful for this platform. Thank you all for being transparent about your experiences. My mind is more at ease now that I’ve read your personal experiences with Plan B, but I would love to hear about the experiences of those who are between 185-205 pounds. Has anyone between that weight range taken Plan B and it has proven effective?
What are plus sized women’s experiences with Plan B?

In terms of the Manufacturer's advice, Plan B is less likely to be effective if you are over 150lbs.
In that situation, pharmacies & doctors, here in the UK, prescribe the other emergency pill, called Ella (Ulipristal Acetate).
If you've already used Plan B, I wouldn't recommend using Ella as well. There are not enough studies done with the relatively new drug (Ella) used close together with Plan B, so they don't know for sure if using them both, close together, would end up cancelling each other out, so neither work.
Thank you so much for your response! I actually took two doses of Plan B in hopes that that will do the trick. I’m hopeful.
Plan B should definitely include the weight caveat on the packaging. Ella is offered here by prescription (and I would’ve opted for it first had I known about the weight restriction of Plan B).
I’m remaining positive. Thanks again!
You're very welcome.
I know it's in the leaflet that comes with the drug, but the person you bought it from should have advised you.
The Manufacturer advises that taking 2 doses is no more efficient than taking 1.
If you're still within 5 days/120 hours of the sex, the other thing you could try is to have a Paragard iud fitted. If the Plan B fails, it can act as emergency contraception by preventing the pregnancy from implanting. It can also remain in place as longer term contraception.
