I took the the pill on the 17th and didn’t feel any side effects other than cramps then started bleeding a week later on the 24th and haven’t stopped since. I’ve never had a bleed last longer than a week and I’m concerned because when I took it I had just ended my period and I believe this is a lot of bleeding for one month since I have been bleeding now for 9 days. I’m unsure if this is normal for contraceptive.
Can Plan B cause prolonged bleeding?

Yes, this is a common side effect from this huge dose of artificial hormone. If it goes on longer than a couple of weeks, you may want to speak to your doctor.
I have had a very heavy flow for a couple of weeks after this drug, & then it settled down. My periods were irregular, for a few months, afterwards.
