I am on phentermine generic k25 pills and it is not working at all! I wanted to know if I should try the brand name Adipex-P?! Does it make a difference in the results.?

I was wondering the same thing. I've been on the generic for 5 days. I had an initial energy surge and appetite suppression on day 1 and it's all went down hill since. I was on this med 25 years ago and it worked but nothing now. So disappointed. Was anything else prescribed to you instead? That MAY be working?

Merl2860; Save your money with this one there is no difference with taking the brand I have not even seen it in years. I don't know how long you have been on it But if its been 3 to 5 days call your doctor and let him or her know that you are not getting any benefits out of this medication you may have to change it to something else. Best of luck.

Thank you so much ! When I called my doctor she says it's not a miracle pill. Which I understand but I have had friends take this medication and it worked great for them so I am confused?. Is there anything else you can recommend that you think will work better for me?.

Merl2860; NO all are prescription and most the time this does work. You might try taking with a full glass of water and wait a little while before you have your meal, Extra water helps make you feel fuller and the pills might just kick in and start to help.Kind of a cough out on the doctors part.
And as you know make some adjustments to your food and little things like walk up and down the block when craving hit or just around the apartment or whatever have to get your system working more than it is used to... OOH ALSO got your friend request for right now I put it in a folder this drug site is not letting me add any friend for some time but feel free to address something to me anytime don't mean to be a cop out here but try and adjust to what you would be doing if the pills were working and hard to say they may start to help.

I have one other question I can't seem to find the answer. How come generic phentermine pills have all different numbers on them. Is it the manufacturer or does it have to do with strength !.

Each company has to have its own numbers and that is all it is has nothing to do with the strength It's just for id purposes from the FDA so that they can be tracked down by the FDA; TO THE company that makes them etc.But the potency of the active ingredients is the same as what the label says. no worries.
