So I started at 5mg for one week then went to 7.5mg last night and woke up like in a drugged dog with my ear ringing off the hook! Why?
Paxil making my ears ring?

Answers
Hey, Jackbarks!
You feel drugged because your system isn't used yet to the larger amount of the medication. The ear ringing is called tinnitus and it's very common and usually subsides quickly but it should be reported to your doctor because in some cases it can become permanent.
"Common (1% to 10% of users): Chills, tinnitus"
Hopefully this will resolve quickly for you.
