Is there something at Walmart [over the counter] that I can use instead of cephalexin. I am on a fixed income and elderly and can't afford the script for my dog. He has hotspots.
Is there an over the counter med that replaces cepalexin?

Here's what I did with my dog, I used monistat cream on him. The stuff you use for yeast infections. There aren't any otc that are antibiotics. Maybe an antibiotic cream like neosporin would help. They make medication for hot spots that you get in the pet dept. I couldn't afford even that that is why I tried the monistat, I had that. Cephalexin at walmart is under $6.00.
