I was prescribed 800 mg of Ibuprofen from my oral surgeon after getting all four of my wisdom teeth taken out. It really helped with the pain, but I believe now I have a dry socket, I called up to where I got them removed (which is a 2 hour drive away from where I live) and they cant prescribe anything without seeing me, which is understandable, however, my local dentist will not be opened until monday( 3 days away) I'm in a lot of pain and for what I have read the pain can last up to 5-6 days. Since I am not able to get a refill of the 800 mg of ibuprofen for awhile I am trying to see if there is over the counter drugs that I can take that is equivalent to the 800 mg. I have heard if you take so muchTylenol and so much of something else, it equals the same as the 800 mg of Ibuprofen, but I have not been able to find what exactly it is. Hoping to get some help.
