I was prescribed 800 mg of Ibuprofen from my oral surgeon after getting all four of my wisdom teeth taken out. It really helped with the pain, but I believe now I have a dry socket, I called up to where I got them removed (which is a 2 hour drive away from where I live) and they cant prescribe anything without seeing me, which is understandable, however, my local dentist will not be opened until monday( 3 days away) I'm in a lot of pain and for what I have read the pain can last up to 5-6 days. Since I am not able to get a refill of the 800 mg of ibuprofen for awhile I am trying to see if there is over the counter drugs that I can take that is equivalent to the 800 mg. I have heard if you take so muchTylenol and so much of something else, it equals the same as the 800 mg of Ibuprofen, but I have not been able to find what exactly it is. Hoping to get some help. Thank.

It's available in smaller doses everywhere.
4advil tablets equal an 800mg ibuprofen. The otc ibuprofen is 200 mg, so 4 equals 800. Tylenol won't help much.
