Is it ok to take omeprazole and ciprofloxacin at the same time?

According to the product labeling, absorption of the extended-release formulation of ciprofloxacin was slightly diminished (20%) when given concomitantly with omeprazole. The mechanism and clinical significance of this interaction are unknown.
