I have an allergy to Sulfa drugs. My dr prescribed me omeprazole for my acid reflux but I forgot to ask him if it contains Sulfa!!! Do you know?!
Does omeprazole, used for acid reflux, contain Sulfa?

There are drugs that contain sulfur, like Omeprazole, that are safe to use in people with a sulfa drug allergy. The title is sorta misleading since usually it refers to those drugs that contain sulfonamides. To be on the safe side though, talk to your pharmacist like Anne suggested.
Hi Michelle,
With a question like this, I would definitely call my pharmacist. They know exactly what goes into a prescription/medication.
