My son is 1 year old and suffering from Diarrhea. He has been prescribed Ofloxacin and Metronidazole suspension. Is it safe of children less than 3 years of age?

Did the babies dr prescribe it? If not, I'd call the babies dr before I gave it. I can't find a pediatric dose recommendation. Did they test the baby for the kind of diarrhea?
