I could certainly use some support. Right now I'm playing phone tag with my psychiatric nurse. People that are in the Health Care Field here are very overworked. I'm sure it's like that all over.
I'm having insomnia. I tend to make up for it the following night. Sometimes sleeping up to 16 hours.
My anxiety has gotten worse. My psychiatrist told me on bad days I can have extra Klonopin. I'm doing CBT and some DBT. My panic attacks have gotten worse too. Also doing CBT for that. I noticed my WBC count drop from the 8,000s and that was 2 separate reads in the 8,000s to in the low 7,000s. So we are checking this week to see if they've gone down farther. Also doing labs for blood sugar. I'm pre diabetic. I need 1 Prolixin daily or else I just can't eat. But the problem with mixin these 2 antipsychotics, Vraylar and Prolixin is I run about at the most 30 points higher with my glucose. I think a huge part of this is that my Ritalin needs to be decreased.
You're probably going to wonder or ask why do I even bother with this drug? Because now I have one voice in my head no second or third causing threats and arguments and my thinking is more organized.
Any thoughts would be very welcome!
My psychiatric meds:
Klonopin
Ritalin
Elavil
Lithium
Gabapentin
Zoloft
Inderal
Prolixin
Vraylar
Thorazine prn
I take other meds. Kidneys and liver working great!
Odd side effects of Vraylar after a month and on a big cocktail of medicine?

Hi, Kazamyst!
I COMPLETELY agree with masso's reply! Way too many different medications in way too many different classes. You're duplicating three antipsychotics and two antidepressants. You have Ritalin counteracting the Klonopin. You're risking (and experiencing) many moderate to severe interactions and side effects with just these medications and G-d only knows what else you're taking.
This is now the time for a serious sit down with your nurse and any other doctor who may be prescribing for you. As masso said you have the right and control over your treatment plan. You really must take charge now!
Best regards and best of luck to you.
First off you are on way too many medications, my opinion is that you are over medicated and on top of that you are taking two antipsychotics, way too much.
I believe your organism is reacting pretty badly due to all the meds you are on, I am not a Dr..
You can't, with all the meds you are on, which God forbid your system may collapse, be playing cat and mouse with your Psychiatrist, which by the way you pay him/her for their professional consultations and being a high risk patient due to all the meds you are your Dr. may be overworked but in life as you are aware one must prioritize and your doctor isn't doing so, don't justify the system of being too "overworked". You deserve, you have the right for your Dr's professional medical experience today not yesterday.
