I picked up my Mupirocin Ointment USP, 2% this evening from my pharmacy. I was concerned if I needed to wear gloves since I have a 5 year old at home & do have creams that do have steroids. The Pharmacist's response was no, it's just an antibiotic ointment.
I picked my Mupirocin Cream USP, 2% up this evening & specifically asked the pharmacist if it had steroids in case I needed to wear gloves since I have a little one at home & do have some other creams that do have steroids. His response was no, it's just an antibiotic cream.
