Just have some questions that are driving me nuts that my doctor didn't answer today. I have a presumed mucous retention cyst within the right maxillsry sinus, suspected idiopathitic intracranial hypertension, and also wondering what they mean by "there is preservation of grey/white matter differentiation?” What does all this mean. I have been referred to a specialist, but the doctor literally told me nothing.
MRI results due to headaches and severe stabbing pains in head. Not diagnosed yet?

Answers
It is quite common for a GP including specialists to not have answers. I will be surprised if the specialist will even provide any answers. What specialist did your GP refer you to ? Neurologist ?
