I had an MRI of my back and neck. Chronic abnormalities are either things you were born with or changes due to age. Are you over 55? Vertebra compression means your spinal column is being narrowed by something pressing on it, a bulging or herniated disc. That causes pain, tingling, and numbness at and below the vertabrae affected. I've been working on mine since November, starting with physical therapy, then an epidural steroid injection. Good luck with yours.
