Monistat can burn and itch when you use it. It usually burns and itches at the labia and entrance to vagina. You might want to wipe it out and put ice on the skin that is burning. Call your doctor tomorrow and see if they can give you something oral for your yeast infection. In the meantime I suggest ice and even over-the-counter hydrocortisone. Ptoon
I'm not sure if it's supposed to be more itchy, but the same thing happened to me as well. After a couple of hours it got better.
