I'd speak to your doctor as you may need a longer course of a similar drug. That happens to me. The 1 dose never does it for me.
Unfortunately, you'll need to tell your doctor about the intercourse, as the doctor may suggest treating him, too, as he may have caught it & sometimes even without symptoms, can end up passing it back to you, so you end up with a cycle of it, back & forth. I've had that, too.
