I recently ordered the Monistat 1 day treatment because I have symptoms of a yeast infection (vaginal burning, irritation, swelling, and discharge that looks like cottage cheese). I know that Monistat 1 focuses on treating the burning/irritation symptoms but will it be able to treat my discharge as well? I’m tired of the embarrassment during intercourse because of this discharge, I just want it to stop!
Can Monistat 1 get rid of clumpy cottage cheese discharge?

First of all STOP having sex until you have the infection gone. You can pass it to your partner and your partner can pass it back to you. Also having intercourse at this point could prove to be painful and cause more irritation for you. Monistat 1 is not the greatest choice if your symptoms are as you describe. You really should use the 7 day treatment at bedtime so that it can work while you sleep. If you try using it during the day when you are active the Monistat will work it's way out sooner. Many of the Monistat packages come with wipes and a smaller tube of Monistat that you can use to treat your external symptoms any time throughout the day as needed. It helps with the itching and burning.
