Sounds to me like you ate something bad. Many times, vomiting is from eating food gone bad. Sometimes once most of the food (and bacteria) is gone from your system, you'll be okay. Has anyone else in the family been sick to indicate it might be viral? Do you work at a Daycare or Nursing home where norovirus is making the rounds? The main thing to keep from getting dehydrated. Try sipping some Gatorade or Powerade (no energy drinks though) or some chicken broth. Stick to clear liquids today. If you feel better later on tonight or tomorrow, add bland soft foods. If you cannot keep even fluids down, you need to go to Urgent Care.
No one I know is sick and I am a stay at home mom to a 4,2,1 yr old children. They don't go to day care as a matter offact we ddon't get out much at all from not having a car. We do go to church every Sunday. I know this is going to sound bad but it's not typical for me. But I really don't think it's anything I ate because yesterday all I had was peanuts and two glazed doughnuts lol and the day before was a piece of bread and some mac and cheese. It's very strange though. I can't even put into words how strong that sulfur smell was. When my boyfriend would come check on me the whole room smelt like sulfur. Thanks so much for helping me. It's frustrating when something is wrong with you and you have no doc and can't get any answers
Since I suffer from so many stomach issues, thought I'd chime in... Granted my first thought would also have been food poisoning, or even the highly contagious Norovirus, but that seems to be pretty well gone... I work with many young people that throw up from anxiety, stress, allergies, sinus infections, inner ear issues, headaches, low blood sugar, etc. but none of them seem to fit the sulfur explanations or the sudden onset.
Any chance you have a Health Dept. near you that you could call? Or the symptom checker on here? May not give you the best answer, but may give you a few leads. --Also, many doctors &/or the ER can give you Promethazine in a gel form to rub on your wrist to stop the vomiting.
Best of luck!
