In looking online I could not find Lomotil with loperamide hydrochloride but a completely different ingredient. Is it possible that this is not what is actually in the package?
In Mexico I bought Lomotil with only one ingredient of loperamide hydrochloride?

Lomotil in the US is comprised of diphenoxylate hydrochloride and atropine sulfate which is a controlled drug (CV, or schedule 5) and available by prescription only. Loperimide hydrochloride is the active ingredient in Immodium which can be purchased OTC. Both drugs are for the treatment of diarrhea stools.
