It is okay to use on your period. It wont hurt anything, just dont use tampons. You should only use pads. Tampons can interfere with treatment. Do not douche or have sex while using this medication either. Also a biggie is no alcohol, consuming alcohol while on this medication will make you feel very sick.

Be sure that you wash the applicator after use with warm soapy water.
