Since starting on this medicine, , my GFR results on blood tests have been consistently below the suggested normal range of >60.Any where from 3 points to 23 points below.

I don't know how old you are but that Kidney function result is terrible. Worse still the medication you are taking has no warnings regarding renal disease as an issue that needs to be considered. Another site with a large sample size reported renal issues in the 50 - 59 and 60 - 69 age groups reported 17% with renal issues in each of those demographic groups.
