... haven’t been able to find much online about taking this drug to treat a cough/cold... I’m wondering if it is ok to also take over the counter cold medicine (mucinex or Tylenol sinus) and cough syrup while taking this drug?
Can methylprednisolone be taken treat a bad cough/cold? And can other cold medicines be taken also?

Sugar cookie, NO ON THE METHYLPREDNISOLONE UNLESS IT IS WRITTEN FOR THIS PROBLEM YOU NEVER JUST TAKE IT. this is a very strong medication and needs to be saved for when you do need it. And yes you can take on over the counter cold medication. Just treat the symptoms your having and it will help to drink extra water. If you have a store with a pharmacy in talk to the pharmacist and make sure you let them know what other medications you may be take=ing and this includes any of the counter supplements.
