I take one methocarbamol 750 mg nightly for leg cramps ("charlie horses"). I have to have a colonoscopy soon and I am to stop taking any drug that contains any of the above medications a week before.
Does Methocarbamol contain aspirin, ibuprofen, or Naproxen?

When you have the generic name it tells you what is in it, methocarbamol, has methocarbamol. If it had aspirin in it, it would say methocarbamol/aspirin.
No, methocarbamol doesnt contain aspirin, ibuprofen or any NSAIDS. It is a muscle relaxant. It doesnt cause bleeding so it will not interfere with your colonscopy. You can take it right up until your procedure.
Thank you!
Methocarbamol can be added with aspirin. Please check the listed ingredients on the container.
Thanks everyone!
