Yes it can show false positive results
NSAID's including meloxicam are known to give a false positive for cannabinoids. Make sure you give a list of your medications to the testing staff.
Depending on the quality of the test, yes. The less expensive the test (and many are) the more prone they are to false negatives and positives. Hope this helps.
