What medication is stronger than valium?

I have heared from friends and family that a fast acting medication for anxiety is Xanax.

If you are having issues with panic attacks and need a quick acting benzo then you may want to try xanax, or ativan. The xanax and ativan are stronger than valium and klonopin, but they are short acting as well, whereas the valium and klonopin stay in your system longer.

I much prefer klonipin myself, assuming your referring to benzodiazepine medication...
