I get canker sores wayyy to often and wayy to many at a time. I've read the internet and how anxiety and stress and low iron or vitamin came cause it. I do stress a lot and do have anxity, I don't bite my gums or anything like that
Hi, I am not sure why you are getting canker sores. You are right, stress and diet are big contributors. I get them before or after I have been sick. Especially if a fever is involved. I do have a great treatment for them. Mix baking soda and peroxide together to form a paste. Take a q-tip and dap the paste on the affected area. DO NOT swallow the peroxide. Just spit it out and try to leave on the area as long as possible. Then spit it all out and rince your mouth well, then spit out. You can do this as often as you like during the day. They will go away alot faster. Hope this helps. L
Emobaby; Elmo answer does not sound bad,But if you get these that ofter could be from stress etc. But there are a few things at the pharmacy that are not that expensive that I have used you have to ask for it because it is in the frig. Or ask the Pharmacist. the one I;m thinking of is called I believe Lactulose there are several brands. Or I now take Acyclovir which I get from the doctor I can feel them coming on and as soon as I get that tingle feeling I start to take the Acyclovir right away and many times I don't even break out.Ask your doctor about this one sure worth it rather than put up with them on my lips or just my inner gum line. Hope you find an answer
You guys have already mentioned stress and anxiety can be the cause and I totally agree. I also wanted to add that certain foods can cause them as well. For example I get about three in my mouth after I eat pineapple and a few other fruits. Could also take that into consideration.
