Have taken tramadol for years and never had any nausea etc. that's not to say you don't everyone reacts differently. Was wondering if it could be from the "severe pain"? My bottle here doesn't say anything about taking it with food or anything. If you think it's the med tell the Dr. and ask to try something different. If your a smaller body type and first time taking 100mg might've been a bit of a shock to your system..maybe try 1 (50mg) the bad thing is for me anyway they take an hour to work.
Thanks, it lasted only a day and now I take only 50 mg when the pain comes in and I don't have the nausea anymore
Hi nausea is a common side effect when first starting Tramadol. I also had very bad nausea to start with. It will pass after you get used to the medication. For now, drink plenty of water to flush through your system and maybe have a lay down. It should pass in a couple of hours
Thank you.. I will try that. When my husband drives me places, I've been getting car sick. The nausea seems to only hits me in the afternoon. I am very sensitive to all forms of meds, so just a light dose will work for me. That also might be because I'm on Gralise at the same time. The nerve pain gets so bad sometimes, but the Tramadol worked well enough, I started walking again.
Hi, i also got the sickness when being driven, not nice! I checked if there were any side effects of taking your 2 medications together, and it is likely that the effects of dizziness will be hightened, so that could be another reason why you could be feeling sick? If it doesn't improve talk to your doctor about the possible interaction. Check out the link...
