i took prozac for nearly a year. around 20mg.-40mg maximum. so sometimes i took 20mg sometimes 30mg and sometimes 40mg.i stopped taking it how long will it stay in my system approximately. also i think age and weight affects it so i am 19 and 44 kg.

You need to taper down to avoid withdrawal. It's fairly easy to wean off prozac. The half life is 3-4 days, which means it would take approxmately 21-28 days for it to be out of your system.
No your size has nothing to do with it. You must taper down the dose or you're going to feel withdrawal for some time. The actual half life is around 4 days. So it will be in your body for about 3 weeks But the effects can be much longer if not stopped correctly.
Fter a year and stopping rather abruptly you can expect to feel the side effects for 2-3, 4-6 months. The drug may leave you system, but its affects will linger.
