Hi. I've been on Contrave three days. I'm happy I've had no bad side effects, but how long does it take to suppress the appetite?

Am jealous that you've had no side effects. I'm on week 3 and have a non-stop headache and nausea. I can manage to live with the nausea, but the headache needs to go. Within the first 2 weeks, I've managed to drop 5lbs. Am considering going back to the week 2 dosage since I was comfortable with that and it worked on controlling cravings. How are feeling now - your original post was 19 days ago.

The medication really doesn't suppress the appetite. It is more helpful to control cravings. That can take up to 4 weeks on the full dose. (So, 4 weeks once you are taking 4 pills a day).
