I have experienced many of the symptoms others have indicated, excessive sweating, etc. Finally after months of complaining about this situation, my primary doctor prescribed 0.1 mg clonidine. I started taking this about 3 days ago and am so anxious to stop the excessive sweating. This condition is so uncomfortable, embarrassing, and tiring. Thanks for all comments.
How long does it take for the clonidine to start working?

Catapres (clonidine) should start working the day you first take. It takes approx. 20 minutes to kick in.
Well technically no. It takes 30 mins to an hour to "kick in" but the subjective experience can take 2 to 4 hours. It takes me 2 hours to notice sedation.
