hello, i recently finished 3-weeks of efudex for my face, neck and ears two times a day.
using a fine layer each time by day 15 my 40g. tube was almost finished. i had to ask my
doctor to prescribe another 40g. tube. after finishing my 21 day treatment i have half tube
left. chances are if you are doing your entire face and have a 40g. tube you may not have
enough to complete the 21 days. good luck it will be over before you know it and you will
be happy you did it.
John, thank you for responding to my question. Your explanation was very helpful. I was not given clear instructions on what a thin layer of cream meant relative to the amount. The two answers I received provide excellent guidance on the amount to apply.
If you are from Montreal, I would like to say Merci and I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question.
You neglected to mention how many areas you are treating, but you should apply a very thin layer-more is not better! I used a pea size quantity for my forehead and it was plenty. I have almost an entire tube left. I would suggest going with the smallest amount that covers the area and add a touch more if needed.
Thank you for your response. I am applying this product to my whole face. I will ensure I use very little at a time.
Once again thank you for your time.
