For those who can't afford to see your doctors, you can always go to the ER and they will issue a refill. That is cheaper then your having a heart attack or stroke.
I have the same issue. Can't afford doc visit and they won't refill it without me coming in.
You can have the pharmacist contact your doctor to ok a refill. This is a drug that docs will ok over the phone.
Today my reading was 196 over 120
You really need to do something with that, its getting dangerously high. The pharmacist can't get your doc now. If it were me I'd go to the er with it that high. I would see to the immediate problem, and on Monday have your pharmacist call the dr. I know you can't afford it, but er's have to see you even if you can't pay right away. They work out a payment plan in that case.
With a BP that high, go to the ER as soon as possible.
One that high can cause a whole bunch of bad things to happen to your body.
Please seek help.

Ok, you've had 2 good nurses telling you to go to the ER. Did you?
How did you get your BP checked? Machines at the pharmacy aren't very accurate. The systolic number of 126 is ok, but I question the accuracy of the diastolic being 113. Just doesn't sound right to me. Please have it rechecked.
Best wishes,
Hippie
