Lipitor can be cut in half but they best not to. They are not scored which makes cutting difficult and inaccurate. If you want to try a smaller dose you are best to talk with your doctor. Lipitor is available in many strengths 10, 20, 40 and 80 mg.
Do not break a Lipitor tablet unless your doctor has told you.
