After 10 years on 5mg I decided to get off the drug. Cutting dosage for about 6 weeks I stoped completely 4 months ago. I’ve experienced most of the withdrawal symptoms, light headed, brain zaps and fatigue. The symptoms were manageable , faint brain zaps when I awoke. The symptoms seemed to be subsiding recently. But, a few days ago I woke up really dizzy, vertigo like. I improved during the day, the vertigo returned and has pretty much stayed for a couple of days.
Is it possible this is a delayed symptom. Can symptoms and get worse after 4 months?
Lexapro withdrawal delayed vertigo?

Hi, Mrw!
After 4 months I would think it unlikely especially if your discontinuation symptoms had subsided. Have you spoken with your doctor? An expert opinion would be good and you'd also want to rule out some other underlying problem.
Best regards and I hope you're feeling better soon.
