My doctor prescribed Lexapro along with my other meds: tramadol, gabapentin, Zanaflex& lisinopril. I am terrified to add the antidepressant to it all. The interactions are scary.
Are Lexapro and tramadol safe together?

Lexapro together with Tramadol has a major interaction, in other words is potentially dangerous.
As these medications were prescribed by the same Dr., I would believe a Psychiatrist prescribed them, he/she is most likely to be aware of the potential risks involved and has outweighed that the benefits are greater than the potential risks, and would not put you in harms way. If this is not the case, and you feel uneasy and troubled by this interaction, and all of the other interactions of your medications as they too are major interactions, I suggest you speak with your Dr. about how you feel with regards to the medication (s).
Bottom line is you are the one who will be taking these medications or not.
