I have panic attacks due to war in my country. Please suggest some medicine, that is safe to take if you have coronary heart disease? The war killed me in a different way. I can't leave my house, even for groceries.

Hi, ammarghareeb!
There are no interactions listed between Lexapro and coronary disorders. Are you considering taking Lexapro? It's one of the top choices for the treatment of depression and anxiety disorders and is FDA approved in the United States for these purposes. They have determined that it's safe and effective.
You might experience some side effects at first but many people feel improvements in the first week or two. It can take 4-8 weeks though for the medication to become fully effective.
Best regards and I hope you're feeling better soon.
