I've switch from levlen (non generic) to Evelyn (generic brand) day 1 of taking the tablet I've experienced bleeding. Why is it happening? It is because I've switched to the generic brand? But aren't they the same thing?

So I should be having my period right now
I came across your question because I was google Evelyn because I'm experiencing the same issue as you.
While the ingredients are technically the same, a lot of women apparently have issues with break through bleeding when they switch to generic birth control pills. It's hard to get a straight answer as to precisely why this happens, as most medical professionals won't acknowledge the problem.
