I have already been on the Wellbutrin (300 mg) but my doctor just added on the Lamictal (25 mg starting dose) I always take my Wellbutrin in the morning to avoid it affecting my sleep at night. Just wondering if it’s safe to take the new medicine at the same time?
Lamotrigine - Can I take Wellbutrin XL dose and Lamictal XR at the same time in the morning?

I was on this combination for bipolar disorder and it worked very well for me, of course everyone reacts differently to meds, I hope it does the same for you.
You can take both as you can read below I did an interaction check for your peace of mind and they do not have any potential interaction.
Interactions between your drugs
No interactions were found between the drugs in your list. However, this does not necessarily mean no interactions exist. Always consult your health care provider.

I'll just add that I'm currently taking this combination every morning like clock work with no problems at all.
Your Lamictal may need to be increased depending on your response to it. Some people need up to the target dose of 200mg/day. I take 100mg morning and evening and it works very well for me.
