I'm 60 years old and have been taking Vyvanse 50 mg for almost 10 years. It has worked amazing and I've had no issues. This past year CVS Caremark all of a sudden decided to no longer cover it. My doc and I both filed an appeal... which was ultimately denied. Apparently, I have to try other alternatives. Can anyone give me suggestions on medication and strength alternatives that would be comparable. I really hate to have to start all over again.
Insurance will no longer cover Vyvanse?

well now they have generic recently approved
I assume that doesn’t have a generic? Otherwise they would cover it. My daughter took it a few years ago and didn’t like the way it made her feel. She now takes adderall extended release when needed. But the generic form. I don’t know what the difference is but it may be worth checking into. As far as strength, your doctor should have an idea.
