If you prefer Ibuprofen then stick to it. Both are fairly similar - naproxen is slightly stronger but with your dose of Ibuprofen its probably much the same. Be sure to take the ibuprofen with a meal, and a glass of water, as it can be rather harsh on your stomach lining.
Many Thanks Suzanne
naproxen is supposed to be stronger and last longer, 2 aleeve is 450 mg compared to 400 and it lasts up to 12 hours with ibuprofen only 4-6 hrs
Naproxen is a wonderful pain reducer. Except for that one thing... The human stomach lining. If only right? I wish those nsaids were safer! But I guess all of us chronic pain sufferers do. Ibuprofen doesn’t seem to work as well for me personally though. But I’m now currently using it so as to switch from the naproxen to at least try to help my stomach lining. Tylenol doesn’t do a darn thing for cervical spine pain for me. My PCP has something against using a narcotic medication. Trying to save me in one way is only destroying my stomach and gastrointestinal innards in another. Go figure?
