I to can relate to this 10mins of fame to then..well, just saying. Hope we find our answers.
Hey ricky,
I think you're misunderstanding how these ED meds work. First of all, don't take any of them without a doc. Don't buy them illegally. Go to a doc. Especially if you have heart issues. A heart problem doesn't necessarily mean you can't use them. If you take Nitrates then you can't use them. And if you take HBP meds you have to adjust those meds for the days you use the ED drugs.
I never took Cialis, but I have taken Viagra and Levitra. For me, Viagra worked better. But these drugs do not give you an instant and automatic erection. That's what you seem to think. They don't do that. They are not an aphrodisiac. They don't create sexual desire. What they do is make an erection possible for men who can't get one due to a poor blood flow to the penis. That's how we get erections. The penis fills with blood.
And btw, standing up also helps, because gravity is an erection's best friend. Somehow Viagra and Levitra, and I assume Cialis too, allow more blood to go into the penis. But you still need some kind of sexual stimulation. You can use your mind to help it along, but I think a ready, willing, and fun partner is best. But if you don't have one, you can do whatever you normally do for self erotica. That works too. While Viagra and Levitra are supposed to only work for 6 - 12 hours, Cialis is supposed to help for up to 3 days. I say supposed to, because me and several other men, have found we're still good to go on the morning of the evening we took Viagra. I get close to 36 hours of help from Viagra. But I still need something or someone to put me in the mood.
I hope all this helped you understand these drugs better. Cialis should not cause a permanent erection. If that happens with any of these drugs you need to go to an ER. It's dangerous to remain hard for longer than an average sexual encounter. Doc's have ways of making the erection go down. But that rarely happens.
Ok thanks for the answer,I do have a partner and I do have erections but is hard for me to stay like that for more that 10 minutes that's why I need the drugs to help me out.
I started taking Cialis right after I had surgery for bladder cancer. Mine was minor and I started having erection issues right after undergoing the chemo, etc. after the surgery. I wanted the same thing you do. I did not want Viagra, as too many friends have told me that the erection is involuntary. My Urologist suggested Cialis and it has been great. You DO NOT get an erection automatically. You must be sexually stimulated, etc. (Masturbate, etc.) in order to get the erection. I was told this by the doctor. It reduces the outflow of blood from the penis and thus gives you an erection. It has worked really well for me. I take it about a half an hour to an hour before I think I may have sex and then forget about it. It has served me well. But I will advise you to do what the instructions say and FOLLOW WHAT YOUR DOCTOR TELLS YOU TO DO!!!
To your other questions. I WOULD NOT! buy it on the black market!! You do not know what someone is selling you. Get a prescription from your doctor!!!
I hope this helps you, because this product has helped me.
Thanks.I'll talk to my doctor.
I also take cialis with same results and highly recommend. Also have used Viagra. Still need stimulus for erection and side effects were more harsh
