My hydroxyzine hcl syrup is from 201. I have a few doses left in one bottle and full amount in another bottle. Is it safe to take?
Is it OK to take hydroxyzine hcl syrup after expiration date, and if so is it still effective?

Hi Steve: I think there is an error in the expiration date that you posted above. Regardless, the best thing to do is contact your pharmacist. He will tell you if the hydroxyzine HCL syrup is still effective or not. (Most medications are still effective for at least one year from the date on the prescription bottle).
