Hydroxychloroquine - I believe this drug causes false positive drug test of THC?

About a month after starting this drug my UA'S started showing positive for THC but once it was sent to the lab it showed no signs of THC use. Every once in a while they will do a hair follicle just to make sure but it always comes up negative.
My workplace conducts regular drug tests and since being on Hydroxychloroquine, I have had nothing but false positives.
Its not necessary to ask for a response. There are a great many medications that cause false positives with a urine drug screen.
If a derivative does then almost assuredly it will.
Hi Boni, yes very possible depending on the test. If you had a false positive, ask for a better test. Maybe blood draw or hair test. You may endup having to pay for it, but if it conerns getting your meds, it's important enough...
