Has anyone experienced this? Acriquine is on a list of drug interference medications and it is a derivative of chloroquine also. Please respond
Hi Boni, yes very possible depending on the test. If you had a false positive, ask for a better test. Maybe blood draw or hair test. You may endup having to pay for it, but if it conerns getting your meds, it's important enough...
Its not necessary to ask for a response. There are a great many medications that cause false positives with a urine drug screen.
If a derivative does then almost assuredly it will.
My workplace conducts regular drug tests and since being on Hydroxychloroquine, I have had nothing but false positives.
About a month after starting this drug my UA'S started showing positive for THC but once it was sent to the lab it showed no signs of THC use. Every once in a while they will do a hair follicle just to make sure but it always comes up negative.
