I have RA and was put on hydrocodone 7.5mg for pain and when I would take it I'd get shaky dizzy and find it hard to breathe but was told those were side effects I now have anxiety and insomnia and this hydrocodone isn't helping I looked it up and it seems to cause anxiety and insomnia so I'm wondering if my provider knew this why prescribe it for me I am having a rough go with the anxiety and insomnia along with hard time breathing and acid reflux my throat is inflamed I went to ER they told me it was just my anxiety I want to stop taking hydrocodone
Does hydrocodone calm anxiety? Nope if you have anxiety it can worsen it in some people like me?

Everybody responds differently to medications and they will affect individuals in different ways. According to the literature 1 to 10% of users will experience side effects that generally resolve within one to two weeks.
"Common (1 to 10% of users): Anxiety, depression, insomnia"
Have you informed your doctor of your reaction to the medication. They can give you professional advice and help you with a tapering dose schedule to reduce the possibility of withdrawal symptoms depending on how long you have taken it. 7.5 mg is a relatively low dose but addiction can happen very swiftly.
Please get in touch with your doctor before starting or stopping medications.

hydrocodone, makes me very sick. I can’t take it. Stop taking it!!! It’s the codeine in it that makes you feel that way. Take Pepcid AC for your reflux. Listen to your body! Stop taking it!!! It’s also highly addictive!
