I am caring for my elderly mother 86, she takes Hydrocodone 10-325. The label says 1/2 to 1 pill every four hours as needed. But then I read that exceeding 325mg of acetaminophen can cause severe liver damage. What's the deal?

Half a tab would be less then that. The order means to give either half a tab or one tab at a time. Not one and a half tabs at a time.
The 325 is the amount of asprin in the pill
Hollylaine: There is no aspirin in Hyrocodone. It has Tylenol in it.
